Object - process of deep grinding hard materials; Purpose - This dissertation is devoted to solution of efficiency increase of a deep grinding process by design-technological approaches to decrease in heat evolving at application of a planetary diagram; Research methods. Theoretical studies based on the fundamental positions of the theory of grinding, physical-chemical mechanics of plastic deformation and fracture of metals; Novelty - The device and method for planetary deep grinding are developed. Energy-power parameters of planetary deep-grinding process for flat surfaces are investigated and functional dependences of power parameters from design-technology factors are obtained.
