The object of research: processes of development strategy in an unbalanced economy. Aim: improvement of scientific approaches to development and management strategies of firms in an unbalanced economy. Research methods and techniques: logic synthesis and scientific abstraction, modeling and forecasting, expert opinions, hierarchical decomposition indicators, factor analysis, dynamic, and normative comparison, economic statistics, statistics and graphics. Theoretical and practical results: the results are methodological development and practical proposals that contribute to the substantiation of business decisions concerning management strategy. Novelty: proposes scientific and methodical approach to the evaluation of the implementation strategy, based on a scenario predicting combinations of different combinations of growth factors and sustainability of the enterprise, improved theoretical and methodological approach to the prioritization and coordination of business objectives, scientific and systematic approaches to assessment efficiency of production and economic activity based on a static model of diagnosis, scientific and methodical approach to the selection strategy of enterprises of machine building industry, had the further development of classification of types of enterprise development through the provision of additional criteria to organize, had the further development of scientific and methodological approaches to the analysis of external field of enterprise operetion.
