Maintenance of efficiency of activity of official bodies on principles of democratic governance. To reveal features of management of official bodies as system formations and to define specificity of their activity in organizational measurement. To offer institutional and organizational mechanisms of maintenance of efficiency of activity of official body. Research methods are: the system-analytical, is functional-structural analysis, the system approach, comparative and logical-semantic, process, logic generalization, the comparative analysis. Taking into account principles of democratic management and on the basis of the analysis of is standard-legal regulation of activity of official bodies in the organizational environment features of their functioning are revealed and new market tools of maintenance of efficiency of activity of official bodies are offered. It is defined that realization of the state measures on maintenance of efficiency of activity of official bodies is the system consisting from four cooperating, but concerning independent subsystems: the managing director; the functional; the target; interim.
