Essay

20 lectins with different carbohydrate affinities were used for the investigation of oligosaccharidic determinants in rat ovary and endometrium under experimental hypo- and hyperthyroidism. It was detected that hypothyroidism induced the estrous cycle inhibition, leucocyte infiltration in ovaria and endometrium. Hyperthyroidism provoced ovaria luteinization and endometrium collagen fibres forming.
