Essay

The thesis covers development of new methods of laser implantation and correlation between optic characteristics and morphology of structures formed by Ag nanoparticles after their thermo- and photo-implantation into optic quartz glass and polycrystalline AgCl films. It has been proven for the first time that optical characteristics of pure optical quartz glass and that with implanted by an isotropic Ag colloid by means of the thermal beam of the СО2 laser can be well described with a model of effective dielectric permittivity. Interferometers for laser implantation of holographic gratings and waveguide periodic were worked out. The following has been performed for the first time: light-induced implantation waveguide periodic those side be with holographic gratings implanted into AgCl film and then thermostimulated implantation of these structures into optical quartz glass. It has been shown that in the case of holographic gratings formation new waveguide periodic appear due to a selfdiffraction on the holographic gratings.
