Object: historical chronicle dramas, drama. Aim: the analysis of the genre features and poetics of historical chronocle drama and the stady of its specifications in Shakespearian and Brechtian literary models. Methods: comparative-historical, comparative-typological, analytical. Scientific novelty: this is the first analysis in Ukrainian literary studies of historical chronicle drama as an epic dramatic genre in a theoretical literary perspective. Approved in 7 publications.
