Rosstalna O. Wessex Cycle of T. Hardy's Short Stories: Genre and Style Peculiarity

The research of T. Hardy's short stories is carried out within the context of development the English literature of XIX - the beginning of XXth centuries and the writer's creative evolution. The research gives characteristics of T. Hardy's short story genre, the history of the Wessex cycle creation, and the analysis of T.Hardy's poetics. Special attention is paid to identification of secondary reality creation principles (the world of Wessex), modeling of monodialogic structure of a narrator's image in short stories. The objects are the short stories which contribute Wessex Cycle of T.Hardy's short stories. The aim is to study the genre and style peculiarity of Wessex Cycle of short stories.
