Kalashnikova R. Peculiarities of early postoperative period after repair of congenital heart defects in children with extracardiac anomalies

PhD thesis in specialty 14.01.04 - cardiovascular surgery. - Government facility "National M. M. Amosov Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery" NAMS of Ukraine, Kyiv, 2011. The thesis is dedicated to problems of early postoperative period after repair of congenital heart defects (CHD) in children with extracardiac anomalies. Analysis of peculiarities of early postoperative period after repair of CHD and impact of extracardiac lesions on immediate surgical outcomes was based on examination and management of 414 children with CHD and extracardiac anomalies. As a result, preoperative diagnostic protocol and intensive care management in the early postoperative period in children with extracardiac anomalies were optimized.
