This dissertation is devoted to the questions of improvement of permanent teeth decay efficiency in children by the clinical-laboratory basis of the choice of anticarious therapeutic and preventive tooth-pastes for individual oral cavity hygiene during the period of secondary mineralization of permanent teeth and for initial caries. Using Secondary ion mass spectrometry and roentgen photoelectronic spectroscopy methods, composition of healthy and artificially demineralized enamel of permanent teeth, and also its changes under the influence of fluoride containing toothpastes were studied. Clinical analysis of fluoride containing tooth-pastes efficiency was made, and criteria of their choice for primary caries prevention and local enamel deminerailization treatment during the period of secondary mineralization were determined.
