The semantic filling of the style category in a number of literary-theoretical discourses is investigated in this work: eidos, philologicall grammar and personalistic, and also the verbal tune in the poetic creation is considered. It is comprehended the originality and evolution of the art style of N.V. Gogol in its interrelation with the tune in creativity of the writer.
