Essay

Purpose of the research: theoretical proving of methodological grounds and development of practical recommendations relative to the improvement of statistical analysis of tourist market in Ukraine. Object of the research: social and economic phenomena and processes that take place at the market of tourist services. Subject of the research: theoretical, methodological and organizational aspects of statistical analysis of the tourist market. Methods of the research: analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, inferencing, statistical observation, summary, grouping, tabular and graphic methods, spatial analysis, analysis of dynamic rows, multiple regression analysis, statistical modeling and prediction. Scientific novelty of the research consists in the grounding of theoretical, methodological and organizational statements of statistical analysis of the tourist market. The main statements of scientific novelty of the results obtained lie in the following: for the first theoretical and methodological approach to the definition of economic essence and interconnection of all the elements of tourist market has been described, that has become the basis for development of the system of indicators for statistical analysis of the tourist market; information support for statistical analysis of the tourist market has been systematized; the issues have been improved as follows: the system of tourist classifications; organizational support for statistical analysis of the tourist market in position of systematic approach and general conception of the tourist monitoring system; approach to the model of multiple regression of the tourist market development in Ukraine according to functional purpose; the following issues undergone further development: scientific approaches to the implementation of statistical analysis of tourist enterprises; the models of trends that determine tendencies of the national tourist market development and predictions of its indicators. Implementation extent: research results have been implemented into the practice of Main department of statistics in Zhytomyr region, Department of culture and tourism of Zhytomyr regional state administration, the tourist operator of internal and external tourism LTD "Tour-service", the travel agency "Credit-tour". The separate results of research are used in the educational process of the Zhytomyr state technological university and Zhytomyr branch of the Kyiv institute of business and technologies.
