The investigation of pathogenic features of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in patients with low thyroid function. On the basis of clinical course of GERD, the morphofunctional state of the stomach and esophagus, changes in lipid metabolism, thyroid homeostasis and functional state of endothelium, composition esophageal and gastric contents, data, radiological, endoscopic examinations and rapid pH-metry esophagus and stomach. Correlation between disease duration of hypothyroidism, the weight of its course and development of symptoms of GERD. The method of treatment of patients with combined gastroesophageal reflux disease and hypothyroidism using sorbent and DC electric field.
