Pifko A. Registration of rights to land in countries of Europe: a comparative study.

The dissertation explores the legal regulation of registration of land rights in some countries of Europe and the role of the registration in the system of the major legal instruments by means of which the State realizes the owners' rights guarantee and protection mechanism. A comparative study of the legisaltion of Ukraine, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Russian Federation and some other European countries regulating state registration of rights to land and other real estate is carried out. The dissertation provides an overview of the state of the scientific research on the problem of legal regulation of the system of registration of land rights. The peculiarities of the legal status of subjects of legal relations in the sphere of registration of the rights to land in some countries of Europe are explained. The approapriateness of the functioning of rights registration and cadastre as two parallel independent of each other institutes between which permanent information interconnection should be established is substantiated. On the grounds of the conducted research proposals on the improvement of the legislation in the sphere of registration of land rights are worked out.
