Kornyliuk R. Foreign banks in the Ukrainian banking system

In the thesis conceptual foundation of foreign banks activity in the Ukrainian banking system is investigated. Nature of foreign banks, causes and effects of their entry in the host country are determined. National-level methods of foreign banking regulation are proved and disclosed. The complex analytical technique of foreign bank impact on the Ukrainian banking system which consists of financial, operational and non-financial analysis of long-term indicators is developed and applied. We recommended the complex approach to the creation of foreign banking regulation system included a number of macroeconomic, organizational, operational measures which are deprived of protectionism drawbacks, based on consolidated supervision and individual control on foreign bank risk profiles.
