Essay

The dissertation presents a systematic research of genre and stylistic paradigm of European Sonata for Viola and Piano in XVIII-XX centuries. The integrated approach to the subject of the research has been offered with emphasis on the functional relationship of viola and piano parts, as well as performing and interpretative parameters. The interpretative discourse which has been introduced in the dissertation, suggests investigating conceptual and stylistic aspects of above mentioned music works through the exploration of most reasonable ways to present the author's concept to the listener.
