The thesis is dedicated to research of historical-philosophical concept of V. Asmus, theoretical reconstruction of the integral system of historical-philosophical views of the thinker, its theoretical and methodological principles that could form the basis for traditions of modern research of the national philosophy and its history. Conditions of formation of V. Asmus as a philosopher were clarified, historical-philosophical legacy of the thinker was researched, the place and the role of V. Asmus in domestic and world history of philosophy were determined.
