Essay

Dissertation work is devoted to a synthesis, investigation of structure, physical-chemical and functional properties of amides of dithiocarbamic acid and coordination compounds of cobalt(II), copper(II) and zinc(II) on their basis. The synthesized compounds were characterized by means of the aggregate of research methods: element and X-ray powder diffraction analyses, mass-spectrometry, spectroscopy (UV-VIS, IR-, 1H NMR-, EPR-), conductometry, magnetochemistry, thermogravimetry. The structures of 2 thiocarbamoylsulfenamides and 3 complexes were determined by X-ray crystallography data. An idea of the directed synthesis of coordination compounds of cobalt(II), copper(II) and zinc(II) with thiocarbamoylsulfenamides was realized. 7 thiocarbamoylsulfenamides were synthesized and identified, methods of synthesis of coordination compounds of cobalt(II), copper(II) and zinc(II) with thiocarbamoylsulfenamides were developed, 48 new complexes were obtained in the individual state and characterized. It was showed that in mixed organic solvents coordination compounds of different types are formed, in which molar ratio metal : ligand is 1 : 1, 1 : 2, 2 : 1 and ligands are bidentate coordinated trough the thionic sulfur atom and sulfenamide nitrogen atom; dimers with bridged halogen atoms and monodentate coordination of ligand trough the thionic sulfur atom. It is set that formation of pseudotetrahedron polyhedron of the complexformer is common for all obtained coordination compounds. The mechanism of solidphase thermochemical transformations proceeding at temperature of the first exoeffects for compounds of cobalt(II) with thiocarbamoylsulfenamides is offered. It was showed that the synthesized compounds display vulcanization, catalytic and biological activities, what testifies to perspective of their use in the processes of vulcanization of rubber mixtures, thermooxidative structurization of oligobutadiene, and also at modification of activity of various enzyme preparations. Key words: amides of dithiocarbamic acid (thiocarbamoylsulfenamides), cobalt, copper, zinc, crystal structure, functional properties.
