Essay

The object is the processes of inelastic deformation in materials that exhibit sensitivity to the type of stress state. The aim is the development of the theory of inelastic deformation to describe the mechanical behaviour of stress state type sensitive materials. Methods are the known methods of mathematical description of processes of inelastic deformation (plasticity and martensitic transformation), taking into account microstructure of material. The variant of theory microstrains that takes into account all three invariants of stress tensor is suggested. Implicit integration scheme is proposed. Recommendations on the choice of basic experiments for the determination of the material parameters are developed. The variant of the theory of microstrains which takes into account martensitic transformation is formulated. The basic and modified versions of the theory are generalized into one model which accounts for two mehanisms of inelastic deformation: slip and twinning. Scope - machine building, metallurgy, the learning process.
