Medvid Y. Optimization of complex treatment and correction of endointoxication of patients with diffuse phlegmons in maxillofacial area.

Subject - in experiment – suppurative inflammatory process in soft tissues of rats; in clinical part – diffuse phlegmons of maxillofacial area and syndrome of endointoxication development; aim – to increase the efficiency of treatment of patients with diffuse phlegmons by using complex of infusion medications of multifunctional effect; methods – clinical and laboratory, electromyographic, biochemical, hystological, microbiological and statistic methods; novelty – combination of infusion medications of multifunctional effect Reosobilakt and Ksylat with simultaneous intratissual electrophoresis is applied for the first time, influence of sorbitol and xylitol on energy metabolism in tissues of suppurative wound and xylitol influence on responsivity of microorganisms to antibiotics are studied for the first time; results – technique of combining infusion medications of multifunctional effect injection with simultaneous conduction of intratissual electrophoresis is developed, nature of functional changes in body and level of endointoxication development are studied, efficiency of the offered method of treatment is proved; introduced in practical activity of institutions of Ministry of Health of Ukraine; branch – medicine.
