Object of research - multidrug resistant pulmonary tuberculosis (MDRPT); the purpose - improvement of efficacy of treatment of patients with MDRPT through the use of injectable antituberculosis drugs in the individualized chemotherapy regimens; methods - clinical, X-ray, microbiological, biochemical, statistical; the novelty - studied the efficacy and tolerability of individual antituberculosis drugs (ethambutol, PAS, levofloxacin) compared with the combination of these drugs in their application in the form of intravenous infusions in treatment of patients with MDRPT. It is established that the inclusion of any of the following drugs in the intensive phase of chemotherapy in patients with MDRPT, enhances the effectiveness of treatment for frequency and timing of the disappearance of clinical symptoms and sputum conversion, significantly reducing length of stay in hospital an average of 21-24 days. It is established that the combination of these drugs in injectable form allows more significantly improve the effectiveness of treatment by increasing the frequency and acceleration of sputum conversion by 28% and 33% and save with 4543.9 grn. on the treatment of one patient.
