Golovina Y. Corporate Governance in Ukrainian Banks

The dissertation is dedicated to the research of the theoretical, methodical and practical aspects of corporate governance in banks. The author analyzes ownership structure of Ukrainian banks and its influence on corporate control. The author conducted an analysis of the structure and functions of supervisory boards. The estimation of factors enhancing corporate governance in Ukrainian banks is completed. Scientific principles of division of supervisory boards' control functions are defined. The complex method of assessment of supervisory boards in banks is developed. The author proposes the measures of state regulation of corporate governance in Ukrainian banks.
