In dissertation one of maiden attempts of complex analysis of sources from history of the foreign investing of industry of Donbasu (1861-1914) as historical sources is done and them rich in content satiation for the study of history of development of the Donetsk coal pool. In the first section the considered historiography of problem, certain features of a spring base and teoretiko-methodological research principles. The personal touches of legislative base of the Russian empire (1861-1914 ) are exposed in the second section, in accordance with the offered classification. Offered systematization of materials of legislative base, by the source of receipt of information, maintenance. In the third section the personal touches of office work document of industrial enterprises are exposed with bringing in of foreign investments which operated on territory of the Donetsk coal pool.
