Essay

In the dissertation it is defined the pathogenetic role of abnormalities of lipids peroxide oxidation (LPO) - antioxidant protection (AP), disbalance of pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines of mouth cavity in interconnection with clinical disbalances in the development of generalized periodontitis (GP) in chronic course of initial I and I-II rate of severity. It is worked out the treatment method of GP in chronic course which presupposes the use of non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) locally, which are injected durably as suspension with the help of periodontal cups and additionally inside which favors inflammation elimination, remission of pathologic process. It is given the grounding of non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) (non-selective inhibitor of cyclooxygenase (COX) - diclofenac, selective inhibitor COX - 2 - nimesulid as well as specific inhibitor COX - 2 celekoksib) use and the assessment of their effectiveness. The investigations proved the ability of diclofenac, nimesulid, celekoksib in different extent to lower the level of LPO and to intensify AP, to normalize cytokine regulation, which hinders inflammation, tissues destruction and betters repair conditions.
