The dissertation is based on the analysis of the profitability of the company as a synthetic indicator of its activity. The role of profit in enterprises of machine building industry and scientifically explained and the technologies of profit management are formulated . The functions of profit as the main criterion of economic efficiency in the machine-building industry are nvestigated. The growth factors of public wealth based on complex analysis are determined and on this basis the main trends, model and mechanisms of the machine-building enterprise management of the profitability increase from investment are developed. The principal approaches of profitability increase of enterprise are revealed. The influence of the progressive processes of the enterprises management of machine building industry as the main factor of the profitability increase of enterprises is grounded.
