The object: collected volumes, poetic cycles, apart poems about cities of the poets at the end of the XIXth - the first half of the XXth century. The aim: complex research of discourse of the city in Ukrainian poetry at the end of the XIXth - the first half of the XXth century, its ideological-thematic originality and principles of artistic organization. Practical value: materials of dissertation were used during reading the institute courses of the history of literature at the end of the XIXth - the middle of the XXth century, in the process of teaching the special courses of the history of Ukrainian literature, in practical work of teachers-philologists. The methods: observation, selection, analysis and systematization of material.
