Essay

The object of study is the process of error-correcting coding and decoding by applying the fast Fourier transform. The purpose of study is reducing the computational complexity of the procedures of the concatenated convolutional encoding and decoding with ensuring the reliability of a given. The methods of study are methods of algebraic theory of error-correcting coding, number theory, theory of finite fields, theory of digital signal processing, methods of complexity theory and methods of the theory of digital automata. The scientific result is developed methods for encoding and decoding of the concatenated convolutional codes in the frequency domain of reduced complexity based on fast Fourier transform. The practical result is methods allow to reduce the computational complexity of the procedures of encoding and decoding of the algebraic concatenated convolutional codes. Introduction: UkrSART, JV "MONIS". An application domain is telecommunications systems and networks.
