Dissertation is devoted to the theoretical and practical problems of information ensuring of the district inspector of police activity. With a view to clarify the place and role of the department of the district inspectors of police in the system of the organs of internal affairs, it is investigated the history of becoming and development of this department in structure and functional aspects. It is analyzed the principles and forms of information ensuring of the district inspector of police activity, and it is accented the attention of the necessity to fastening of basic principles in the departmental normative acts. The main attention is spared to separate directions of information ensuring of the district inspector of police activity, namely: the information ensuring of prevention measures of the district inspector of police; information ensuring of jurisdiction activity of the district inspector of police; information interaction of the district inspector of police with the state organs and the public.
