Essay

A prospective study showed that exposure to radiological (total exposure in range 0 – 56.7 mSv, М±SD:19,9±13,0 mSv) and total industrial risk factors leads to forming of congnitive type of chronic fatigue syndrome with dysfunction of cortical-limbic system, chiefly in dominant (left) hemisphere with key involving of hippocampus. Usage of neurophysiological and neuropsychological methods provides early, effective and objective diagnostics of changes in brain by presence of radiological and total industrial risk factors and also in conditions of high psychoemotional tension of work. It is that individuals, who earlier were subjected to radiation exposure without consequences for their health, are more resistant to further irradiation. As is shown in this work, a permanent monitoring and rehabilitation measures are necessary for personnel of the “Shelter” object.
