Dissertation work is dedicated to the solving of actual problem of therapeutic dentistry, directed on improving of effectiveness of treatment of chronic apical periodontitis with the aim to optimize the most successful outcome of endodontic treatment. It has been proposed a differential choice for using a single- or multipy-visit endodontic treatment based on the clinical and morphological features of apical periodontitis.
