Pavlyuk H. The situation and the activities of late Protestant congregations in the Volyn province in the second half of the 19 th –early 20 th centuries

The dissertation presents the results of the research of late Protestant communities in Volin province (second half of XIX – the beginning of XX centuries), particularly, the conditions they lived in and their activities. The complex research includes two modes of investigation: history and religious studies. It was found out that several factors played important role to promote the spread of Baptism, Adventism and Evangelical Christianity in poly-ethnical and poly-confessional environment. The geographical research has been done of how the Evangelical and Messianic-Eschatological movement was spreading in the province.
