Goloborodko V. Application of dental elixirs with phytoestrogens in treatment of inflammatory periodontal diseases (clinical and experimental study)

The thesis is devoted to the actual problem of periodontology - improving the effectiveness of treatment and relapse prevention of inflammatory periodontal diseases by the use of a combined treatment of patients with dental elixirs phytoestrogens. First developed dental elixir, which includes aglycoside form of phytoestrogens, and it shows in the experiment and expressed periodontoprotective and cariesprophylactic action. Found that the use of dental elixir "Eksodent-1" in rats with experimental periodontitis leads to a decrease in proteolytic activity, the normalization of LPO-AOP in the periodontal tissues, stabilization of lysosomal membranes and inhibition of the destructive and resorptive processes in the alveolar bone of rats. It is proved that the use of dental elixir "Eksodent-1" in the complex treatment of patients with chronic catarrhal gingivitis leads to normalization of clinical parameters and salivation, decrease in the intensity of LPO processes, reduction of proteolytic activity and enhance nonspecific resistance of the oral cavity. It is established that dental elixir "Eksodent-1" has pronounced prebiotic properties due galaktosuger that stimulate the growth of probiotic microorganisms, as evidenced by a 6-fold decrease in the degree of dysbiosis in patients with chronic catarrhal gingivitis.
