Essay

The thesis is devoted to study of rheological, structure-mechanical, structure-adsorption and fractal characteristics of the Black Sea pelagic sediments, shallow peloids, their clay compound (glauconite, hidromica, montmorillonite) and their change due to acidic and thermal treatment. It shows that presence of ultradispersed phase of clay minerals and nature of mineral surface influence the structural properties of sediments and their change under external factors. Following thermal treatment selective sorbents and styptic therapeutic composition based on clay minerals and medicinal plant have been developed.
