Kuchma O. The Pensionable Service as a Category of Labour Law and Social Security Law of Ukraine.

The thesis is concerned with a comprehensive study of pensionable service in labour relations and legal relationships in the field of social security. The thesis studies the correlation of such categories as "pensionable service" and "labour experience"; special features of categories "accumulated period of work", "dates of employment", "legal fact" are determined; the influence of accumulated period of work on rights of persons beginning from periods of limitations until today is studied; the importance of accumulated period of work for various branches of law is analyzed; the term "pensionable service" is defined; a conflict in the legal regulation for calculating periods of labour activity and other periods that are included to different kinds of accumulated period of work is found; the methodological fundamentals for the influence of pensionable service and accumulated period of work on award and calculation of different kinds of pension are reasoned; a comparative analysis of influence of accumulated period of work and pensionable service on the award and calculation of other kinds of social security is carried out; the main trends for influence of pension reforming on place and role of pensionable service in labour law relation and legal relationship in Social Law Security are determined; the specific proposals concerning the improvement of Social Security and Labour Legislation of Ukraine are drawn up.
