The thesis is devoted to research social and legal aspects of labour discipline during the conceptual bases of improving the legal regulation development of labour discipline under the conditions of market relations. The historically-legal analysis of the formation and the development of the labour discipline institute in the national labour law is presented. The concept and maintenance of labour discipline at the modern stage are analyzed; the necessity of the labour discipline legislative fixing as the objective legal category is grounded and appropriate definition is suggested. The functions of labour discipline are formulated, their maintenance is defined and the ways of labour legislation improving are suggested. The facilities and methods to provide the labour discipline, the essence and the maintenance of employer's disciplinary authority are defined. The special attention is paid to the disciplinary liability in the system of the labour discipline providing. The classification of disciplinable offences is made. The system of disciplinary penalties and foundation of their classification are suggested. The suggestions to improve the conceptual framework and labour legislation in the field of labour discipline regulation are grounded.
