Essay

The thesis presents the study of the specific parameters and main development tendencies of domestic variety music and German U-Musik by means of the retrospective analysis of artefacts of the European variety-vocal performance in the twentieth century. The thesis considers a variety-vocal art as the phenomenon with its own genesis, historical and cultural dynamics of development, genre and stylistic characteristics, multifunctional character of influence over audience.
