Korniichuk I. The Social Dimension of Orthodox Churches Ecumenical Activity

The dissertation is devoted to the research of the social content of Orthodox Churches participation in the Ecumenical Movement, to the analysis of the state, tendencies and perspectives of the Christian Churches social cooperation in the context of modern ecumenism development. The main peculiarity of the modern Ecumenical Movement is the extension of the new sphere of its socialization that is evaluated as a process of inner secularization of ecumenical institutions by the Orthodox Churches. Under the influence of the Orthodox Churches it is undergone the reinterpretation of the social complexity of ecumenical movement in the context of the renewal of the indissoluble connection between liturgy and social activities.
