Essay

Object - axial and centrifugal titanium compressor blisks, as well as high-speed milling and strain hardening operations; goal - technological providing of quality characteristics of bearing surfaces of axial and centrifugal GTE compressor blisks from titanium alloys by forming a rational combination of surface layer characteristics with shaping and finishing stage treatments that increase resistance to fatigue; research methods - methods of engineering mechanics, statistical methods, numerical methods in the theory of elasticity; novelty - for the first time the scientific justification of process to ensure the quality of blisks by their forming with high-speed milling and combined hardening was given, for the first time the system of analytical correlations and science-based engineering design methodology for determining optimal process parameters of the bearing surfaces dynamic hardening were developed, for the first time the mechanism of vibration in the working area of high-speed milling was set, the empirical relations of the effect of mechanical and hardening treatment on the characteristics of the surface layer and fatigue resistance were developed; the results - a complex of technical and technological supporting, which includes the combined treatment processes, technological advice on the mechanical and hardening processes, technological devices and equipment for the manufacture of axial and centrifugal blisks of titanium alloys with the specified performance were developed.
