Dissertation is devoted research of essence and mechanism of legal defense of society from harmful information, and also ways of his perfection, in particular, essence of information is exposed in the conditions of informative society, certainly concept and types of harmful information, the legal aspects of protecting are found out from the action of harmful information, the methods of protecting are formulated from the improper advertising, the methods of protecting are described from information which negatively influences on a public moral, the methods of protecting are exposed from information which generates discrimination of rights and legal interests of person.
