Essay

Dissertation research is devoted to the peculiarities and problems of harmonization of national labor law and international standards in protecting the labor rights of workers. The research shows the author's classification system of forms and means of protecting workers' rights and interests of employees in accordance with the jurisdictional and not-jurisdictional their legal nature. The reasons of conceptual obsolescence of legislation that regulate the protection of labor rights and interests of employees and, accordingly, offers advice on the application of legal and technical means to ensure compliance of national legislation with international law and/or regional norms of the EU. Analyzed the labor laws of Ukraine and, on this basis, it is proved that the norms of labor legislation governing the protection of labor rights of workers are contradictory, not stable and incomprehensible, as well as those that do not include modern forms of protection of labor rights of workers.
