Essay

The object of research - the processes and conditions for the safe conduct of rescue operations in mines gas mines. Purpose of research is to improve the safety performance of emergency work main types of in the gas mines. In dissertation work has been used complex method research, which includes the analysis and synthesis of the literature on existing ways and means to perform rescue operations in mines dangerous on gas mines; theoretical studies of the dynamics of formation of explosive atmospheres, methods of mathematical and numerical modeling of changes in depression on insulating buildings, laboratory studies explosive gas mixtures, a retrospective analysis of operational activities in the conduct of emergency operations in the gas mines. Achieved scientific and practical results enabled to render numerical assessment of the mine-rescue men injuries risk level, develop scientifically based recommendations for safe elimination of complicated accidents in hard-to-reach places. For the first time the fact about three-component gas mixture flammability rage reduction due to the combustion heat dissipation by means of phlegmatizing agent has been theoretically justified and experimentally prooved. Minimum safe value of phlegmatization index for methane and air mixture has been also defined, it should be considered during planning and accomplishing of fire confinement works. New technology for the combined suppresion of complex undergroung fires via membraneous gas-separation unit has been created, which stipulates the additional stopping set, flooding of the constructed chamber by the noble gas, transition of the depression to the stopping, nearest to the seat of fire, that allows to improve emergency operations safety in gaseous mines and decrease the time for fire suppression. The results of this Work were used for the compilation of the recommendations for the development of the new fire suppression technological methods, which were forwarded to Research and Development Establishment of Mine-rescue Works "Respirator" and used in the learning process State Higher Education Institution "Donetsk national technical university"
