The dissertation is devoted to up-to-date research and practical problem solving - the development of new methods and models for efficiency estimation of wireless segment application in information systems. It is suggested to examine parameter groups for data exchange description in wireless segment. Iterative method is developed for efficiency estimation of wireless segment application in enterprise information system, which expects rational variant of segment structure formation, comparison and selection with respect to the previous estimation of its functional efficiency. General estimation criterion is proposed. Functional efficiency estimation model is developed. The simulation model is proposed for processes of wireless segment functioning, which is based on polling system with artificially added frame-based processing. The proposed method and models for efficiency estimation of wireless segment application in the information system are implemented in the enterprise and in the company.
