Essay

In dissertation work complex investigation of clinical-biochemical and immune-endocrinal indices, morphological changes in liver was done in patients with chronic hepatitis C and metabolic risk factors. It was found that patients with metabolic risk factors have higher cytolisis of hepatocytes, higher leptin, insulin and TNF-? serum levels than in patients without these factors. Influence of immune-endocrine parameters and metabolic risk factors to liver fibrosis and steatosis was uncovered in research work.
