Essay

There were studied the theoretical and methodological grounds of effective development in potato production, as well as there was improved a system of main indices in diagnostics of economic potato production effective ness at agrarian formations in Podilsky region. Up-to-date status in potato production and distribution among the agricultural enterprises and farms of provincial population in Podilsky region was analyzed. An economical and mathematical model in accounting the optimal structure of potato planting areas was elaborated, as well as was determined and substantiated the need in the investment resources upon its basic of the region.
