The thesis focuses on determination of a notion and peculiarities of state service in the STS bodies of Ukraine. The author studies out principles and functions, specifies main types of state service in the STS bodies of Ukraine. The legal provision of state service in the STS bodies of Ukraine is characterized. The legal status of the STS state employees is specified, the problem issues of their classification are studied out. The author defines educational, moral and ethical requirements to the professional activity of the STS state employees, specifies the essence, elements and peculiarities of passing state service in the STS bodies of Ukraine.
