Essay

New results about almost periodic measures and discrete sets in the finite dimensional space are obtained. The geometric criterion for a discrete set to be almost periodic is obtained. An analog of Bochner criterion ofalmost periodicity of discrete set is obtained. It is established that any discrete set is almost periodic if andonly if its associated measure is almost periodic in the sense of distributions or with respect to the Sodin-Tsirelson metric.
