Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of cumulative influence of pH medium and low-molecular surfactant additives of different chemical nature (Triton X-100, benzethonium chloride, sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate) and polyelectrolytes (polymethacrylic acid, dextran sulfate) and their mixtures upon electrical surface properties and aggregative stability of aqueous solutions of modified titanium dioxide. A new approach to the determination of effective ionization constants of surface hydroxyl groups has been proposed and by using the mathematical modeling method of the equilibrial processes of their ionization a chain of integral electrical surface indexes of dispersions under investigation has been found.
