Thesis is devoted to the analysis of criminalistics' problems of ascertainment the mechanism of cargo larcenies on rail transport committed by organized groups. The state of researched problem in law science has been studied. Element composition of such larcenies' mechanism system has been determined; structural subordinations between separate elements have been established; typical models of such kind of crimes' studying have been outlined. Role and place of proving among forms of ascertainment the mechanism of cargo larcenies have been determined; circumstances which should be established during the investigation of corresponding criminal cases have been systematized.
