Object of research – lower- middle- carboniferous sediments at depths of 5-7 km in central and southeastern parts of the DDD. Purpose - scientific justification of prospects of deep submerged oil deposits in the lower- middle- carboniferous in central and southeastern parts of the DDD and the immediate perspective of objects exploration for oil and gas. Methods - systematization of geological and geophysical information, structural-tectonic and lithological-facies analysis, the method of comparative analogy, the microscopic study of rocks, reservoirs, oil-gas-rating objects. The degree of implementation - the recommendations of the author's thesis was carried out deep drilling of Solokhivske and Komyshnyanske deposits; received industrial gas inflow and extended gas contours of several fields; opened new Southeast Kolomak deposit. Areas of use - oil and gas, exploration companies.
