Object is the processes of commercialization of railway transport in the conditions of adaptation to the dynamic market environment. Goal is a scientific ground and the development of theoretical and methodical approaches to the development organizationally - economic bases of commercialization of railway transport of Ukraine. Methods are dialectical, statistical treatment and analysis of information, graphic, system analysis, fundamental positions of economic theory, laws of community development, structural and functional approaches of the systems. Novelty consists in a theoretical ground and practical argumentation of expedience of development organizationally - economic mechanism of commercialization of railway transport as facilities for the decision of main problem that is the increases of competitiveness of railway transport and its adaptation to work in market conditions. Results - the determination of economic concept "Commercialization of railway transport" due to realization of the system of measures, directed on reformation of economic activity of railway transport have been improved; methodical approaches to the determination of terms of bringing in of private investments due to establishment of functions of the state and private structures in the conditions of realization public - private partnership have been improved; approach of the systems to the ground of structure, functions, economic instruments organizationally-economic mechanism of commercialization of railway transport have been improved; priority-partner approach to the commercialization due to bringing in of private investments have got further development; estimation of efficiency organizationally - economic mechanism of commercialization of railway industry, based on the aggregate of indexes of realization priority - partner approach have got further development.
