Essay

The object is multimedia transferring telecommunication systems processes and parameters, the influence of these parameters on multimedia services quality, also analysis and multimedia processing instruments that making possible lossless reducing the multimedia volume. The aim is reducing of multimedia services providing efficiency that can be reached by increasing its quality level without its quantity and functionality decreasing. The methods are computer and mathematical modeling, algorithms theory, queuing systems theory, coding and compressing methods, video analysis and wavelet theory. The results and novelty: - The new mathematical model of the multimedia transferring is justified in the work. This model is based on generalized mathematical model and the computer modeling results. - The bases of the video quality objective estimate during its processing and transferring through the next generation networks. - The multimedia volume reducing by the dynamic component allocation proposed in the research. - The problem of the critical multimedia quality decreasing during its compression is solved in the dissertation. This solution consists of using of the dynamic component allocation method, wavelet and arithmetic coding. - The volume delta coding method of the digital video signal is proposed in the work. This method is based on the movement detection algorithms and traditional delta coding. The field is technical sciences, telecommunications.
